Project Overview
Pharra Perry is a creative professional with a portfolio of projects spanning video production, directing, and marketing.
Webxhives partnered with Pharra to transform a purchased Webflow template into a personalized portfolio website that reflected her creative work and professional identity.
The project began with the Henry Cartier Webflow template, which provided the foundation for the website's layout and visual structure.
Our responsibility was to customize the template, integrate portfolio content, organize project pages, refine the visual design, and create an easy-to-manage website that Pharra could update independently.
The engagement also included responsive optimization, website testing, and personalized training videos.
The Challenge
Pharra wanted a professional portfolio website that showcased her creative projects without requiring a completely custom website built from scratch.
She had already purchased a Webflow template but needed help adapting its design and functionality to her personal brand.
The website needed to accommodate different types of portfolio content, including project descriptions, photographs, and embedded videos.
Several important requirements shaped the project
- A clean and visually engaging personal portfolio
- Consistent styling across the homepage and project pages
- Organized portfolio categories
- Vimeo video integration
- Flexible project content management
- Responsive desktop and mobile layouts
- Clear navigation between projects
- Social media and contact links
- An easy way to update portfolio content independently
The client also wanted flexibility to refine the website's appearance as the project progressed.
Our Solution
We customized the Henry Cartier Webflow template and developed a structured portfolio experience around Pharra's creative projects.
The project involved several rounds of feedback and refinements to ensure the website reflected her preferences.
1. Webflow Template Customization
We adapted the existing template to create a more personalized website.
This included updating typography, spacing, colors, page layouts, and content sections while maintaining the template's underlying structure.
We explored both light and dark visual directions before returning to the client's preferred dark background and white typography.
2. Homepage Design & Development
We customized the homepage to highlight Pharra's identity and selected creative projects.
The design focused on a clear visual hierarchy, prominent portfolio imagery, and simplified navigation.
We also refined the featured project order, removed unnecessary template elements, and incorporated social media and blog links.
3. Webflow CMS Portfolio Development
We structured the website's portfolio content using Webflow CMS.
The portfolio system allowed individual projects to have dedicated pages with their own descriptions, images, videos, and related content.
This approach made the website easier to maintain and provided a consistent layout across different projects.
4. Portfolio Project Pages
We developed and customized project pages featuring Pharra's creative work.
The portfolio included projects such as
- Watrfall
- Compound W
- Koncept House
- Firebeatz
- Pacaso
- EnergyX
- HEVO
- Ology Brewing
- Eliaz Therapeutics
Each project page was structured around the supplied content and media requirements.
5. Vimeo Video Integration
Video was an important part of the portfolio experience.
We integrated Vimeo videos into project pages and worked with the client to ensure the appropriate media appeared in each section.
The implementation also included adjustments to video placement, formatting, and supporting project content.
6. Portfolio Navigation & User Experience
We refined the navigation experience to make it easier for visitors to explore the website.
This included improvements to the next-project sections, return-to-home links, project thumbnails, and overall content presentation.
We also simplified unnecessary template navigation elements to keep the focus on the portfolio.
7. About Page Customization
We updated the About page to provide a more direct introduction to Pharra.
The layout was refined to prioritize her photograph and personal content while removing unnecessary visual elements.
Calls to action and supporting page sections were also adjusted based on client feedback.
8. Responsive Design & Quality Assurance
After the main website customization was completed, we performed QA testing across desktop and mobile layouts.
The responsive refinements included adjustments to spacing, image sizes, alignment, and layout behavior across screen sizes.
9. Client Training & Website Handover
An important part of the engagement was helping Pharra manage her portfolio independently.
We created detailed Loom walkthrough videos explaining how to
- Create new portfolio projects
- Update existing project content
- Manage project images and videos
- Work with Vimeo embed IDs
- Adjust project visibility and placement
- Navigate the Webflow content management structure
The training videos were also supplied as downloadable files for future reference.

Project Outcome
The project delivered a customized Webflow portfolio website designed around Pharra Perry's creative work.
The completed website provided a structured way to present projects, showcase embedded videos, and manage portfolio content through Webflow CMS.
Following several rounds of feedback, Pharra confirmed that the website looked good and was ready for the final QA and handover process.
We completed responsive testing, addressed layout issues, and delivered detailed training videos to help her maintain the website independently.
The client approved the final milestone in April 2026 and closed the engagement with positive feedback.
The engagement concluded with a completed website and client training materials.
The supplied project correspondence confirms completion and handover on the Webflow project URL; publication to a separate custom domain was not established.
