How it works

Four steps to a calm launch day.

  1. Review each area with your team

Walk through forms, SEO, analytics, speed, mobile, redirects, content, and handover. Assign open items to the people who own them.

  2. Tick items as they are done

Progress updates per area and overall. High-impact items weigh more, so the score reflects real launch risk.

  3. Clear the blockers first

The list on the right shows the open items with the most impact. Do not switch the domain while any of them are open.

  4. Recheck on the live domain

After launch, test forms, tracking, redirects, and indexing again on the real domain. Staging results do not always carry over.

Frequently asked questions

What teams ask before they launch a website.

  • Start one to two weeks before launch. Items like redirects, tracking, and content checks take time, and finding them on launch day is stressful and expensive.
  • Leaving a noindex setting from staging, forgetting redirects from old URLs, forms that do not reach the right inbox, and analytics that is installed but not tracking conversions.
  • Only if the domain had a website before. When you replace an existing site, every old URL that changes should redirect to its closest new page so you keep rankings and links.
  • Yes, in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server. Use the Reset button to start a fresh checklist for your next launch.
